Easter goodies for little girls

Easter is only a few weeks away and although we are still under quarantine, I am excited to make this Easter an extra special Easter for Charlie. We may sometimes think our little ones do not understand what is going on in the world, but they pick up on a lot more than we think! Just the other night before bed, Charlie started crying and telling me she misses her friends. That being said, it can be a very stressful time for even our children. I think countering the stress in any way possible is the best thing. Making a super special Easter basket for your little one and going about holidays as normal as possible is the best thing you can do for your children right now.
Here are some super cute Easter basket ideas to make your shopping easier:
The number one staple for the perfect Easter basket is a stuffed animal, especially a stuffed bunny. Maisonette has a ton of beautiful bunnies.

Bubbles are perfect Easter gift because spring is around the corner and we will be spending more time outside. Bubbles will provide lots of entertainment for us during this quarantine time!

There are so many adorable styles of bunny ears right now! The sequin ones, pictured, are now sold out, but the velvet ones linked are just as adorable. Bunny ears are another Easter basket staple.

This tea set is precious! It is under $25.00 which is an excellent price for something so special. It is porcelain and comes with this adorable wicker storage basket.

Books are such a good gift because they keep giving! We have read some of our books probably a hundred times with Charlie. This book looks super cute!

This is the Easter basket I bought for Charlie this year. I love it! It matches the Bunny Williams nesting baskets in her room right now, so I can use this Easter basket for decor later on. I had hers personalized in light pink

We have this book from last year and we are huge fans of the "If I were a..." books by Jellycat. We have quite a few of them. They have sensory pages on the inside that Charlie loves. And how cute is the bunny tail?!

Wee Ones bows are a new favorite of mine. I love how big they are. They look super cute on Charlie and this would be a cute addition clipped onto the Easter basket.

A cross necklace is something Charlie does not have (until now!) and I have wanted to get her one that is special and unique. I bought this for Easter for her and I love how dainty it is. It truly looks so beautiful on her. I love it!

Every year for Easter and Christmas, I order Charlie a pair of pajamas from The Beaufort Bonnet Company. I get them either monogramed or personalized with her name on the bottom. They are so adorable and it has become sort of a tradition for me. I bought the Belle Meade Bow style in Plantation Pink for this year and I even bought the matching pair for myself (of course).

This "Luggy" found at Maisonette is super cute way for your little one to wheel around their toys with them. Charlie always loves to load up her toys to take either upstairs, downstairs, outside, anywhere basically! We don't have this, but we have a stroller similar to this that she like to push her toys around in.

Beatrix Potter stories are so classic and this dish set shares the same beauty! Seasonal dishes are a great way to get your child into the spirit of the season.

Love this!

Since we are all stuck inside this season, I decided to shop for the season that I know we will all be able to embrace- summer! I have wanted to order a Minnow swim suit for Charlie for some time now, but since they are pricier, I decided to wait until I knew she could wear one size for longer than a few months! I finally did it! I just received this beauty in the mail and I couldn't be happier with the colors and the quality. I love this print and there are a few other styles in this same print. I know this summer we are going to be living up our pool days as much as possible, so this will get well worn!

Shop below for other styles.
I love that they offer boy/girl coordinating options, too!

Spring is here!

Happy first day of spring! With the current state of our world, I wanted to share something positive and fun for you to do now that spring has arrived. Every season, I make a seasonal fun list (kind of cheesy, I know!). I realized if I didn't write it down, I would forget to do some of my favorite things each season because time just goes by too fast. I hope this helps you get the most out of spring!

Charlie's Window Seat

The window seat in Charlie's room is one of my all time favorite spaces in our house. Maybe it is because it is the only truly finished spot, in my opinion, but I just love how it feels! I originally was going to go with a neutral pink and white fabric, but then I saw this pink and green floral and it just felt right! I love how it turned out. As you may have noticed, Charlie loves to dress up! We keep all of her dress up clothes in the drawers under the window seat. It is the perfect place for her to be able to explore.

My favorite baby gear- in green!

Today, I am sharing some of my favorite baby products, but with a twist- they are all green! I am loving a soft green this season and it works perfectly for baby gear, especially if you plan on having multiple children and want your products to be gender neutral. I love how calming green is in a nursery. Charlie's nursery in our old house was green and it always felt so peaceful to me. After browsing the internet, I am happy to say all of the product I genuinely loved when Charlie was a newborn now come in green! All items are linked below.

Kickee pants is one of our most favorite brands. The footie jammies were our favorite when Charlie was a newborn because they were so soft and stretched easily to get on her little wiggly body. They also had preemie size, which we needed!

I absolutely love a monogrammed scalloped pillow in a nursery. I think it is such a sweet item that can be a keepsake. It is also very classic and gives any nursery an element of taste.

We love Stokke products and this high chair looks awesome. We did not use this high chair (we used the Stokke Steps high chair), but this one looks so comfortable for baby and stylish for the home.

Another great Stokke product. This crib is perfect for safe sleep!

I love the traditional element of silhouette art, but how it has been modernized by Minted here. This would be super cute in a nursery for boys or girls.

A bowl that stays on a table = a happy mom! I love the color of this one.

Ok, sleep sacks are the BEST! I absolutely love Kyte sleep sacks. Charlie is 2 1/2 and still sleeps in one. It is a safe way to keep her warm and comfortable in the crib. Bonus: she can't spread her legs to try and climb out of the crib!

We used muslin blankets often when Charlie was a baby. We didn't swaddle her in them, but we used them all of the time as stroller blankets or play mats. We have even used them to wipe up spills we have created when we are out and about!

The UppaBaby Vista is definitely an investment, but SO worth it. I love our stroller SO much! It lasts so long, too. It has an infant car seat attachment option, bassinet, and toddler stroller. You then can convert it into a double stroller or even tote three kicks along with the addition of the kick board. I cannot say enough good things about it! It also has a huge basket underneath for shopping.

Going Green for March

It is March and that means it is time to go green! This month, I am going green across the board meaning in what we wear, what we decorate with, what we eat, etc. I am going to be showing as much green as possible this month! Starting off, I am sharing the cutest little green outfits and accessories for baby & kids.

I am loving this classic green dress. Perfect for St. Patrick's Day, Easter, spring break, and well into summer.

This bow headband from Nordstrom would be perfect for a mommy & me matching - just buy two!
This is adult size, but if your toddler's head is anything like mines, it will fit their head.

Adorable for Easter for to fill with St. Patricks Day treats.

Wee Ones makes the best bows.

Adorable blouse at a reasonable price and so timeless.

Charlie wears her green Hunters all year round. Green hunters are classic and also can go boy or girl.

This is another gender neutral style. Pair with a ruffle top for girls or a cute henley for boys .

These shoes are too adorable to resist. I wish they came in my size.

The details of this sundress are so classic! This would look adorable for spring and well into summer. I am loving the check print!
