What an amazing weekend! We celebrated Charlie's 3rd birthday with a magical princess party. Our family and friends came - it was SO special. I am so very thankful for the wonderful people in our lives that came out to celebrate Charlie. Decorating for her princess party was one of my most favorite themes to decorate for. The hardest part of decorating for her party was stopping because I felt like I could keep decorating forever! Today, I am sharing all of the details of her party, plus links so that you can have a beautiful princess party of your own.
Father's Day is around the corner so I am rounding up a list of gifts for dad to help you with your Father's Day shopping! Below are some of my favorite gifts this season for dads.
I first saw these freezing beer glasses during the recent Frontgate sale and I knew I had to save them for Father's Day. These would be perfect for the dad who loves beer! Pair them with a case of beer and it would be so cute!
If your dad is anything like my dad, he is an outdoorsman who likes to cook over the fire. I thought cooking popcorn over the fire would be so much fun. I ordered these for all the dad's in my family this year.
My husband has been asking for a game of horseshoes for our backyard and I think I am going to get this one. This is perfect for the dad who loves to be outside.
For Christmas, I purchased a few of these Tie Bar kits for the men in my family and they were a hit. They include a monogrammed pocket square and coordinating socks and tie. Its a great deal for what you get! Perfect for the stylish dad who likes to dress up.
Anything Apple is a given when it comes to gifts, but I especially love the Air Pods for a gift. My husband likes to stay up late watching TV, while I like to fall asleep early. He will wear his Air Pods to watch TV so I can sleep!
It is so hard to believe it has been 8 years since our wedding day! It really doesn't seem that long. Time truly does fly by. In honor of our 8 year wedding anniversary, I wanted to share the details from our wedding. When we got married in 2011/2012, Pinterest was not as saturated with wedding images like it is today, so I just pulled a lot of images from magazines for my inspiration. We worked with an incredible florist and event planning team. I really wanted our wedding to look traditional, but be super fun! I share all of our sources at the end of the post.
These were the tables in the cocktail hour.
Our Guest Book
My bouquet
My dress was so big!
Bridesmaids, flower girls, and ring bearers
The floral at our ceremony
Me walking into the ceremony
I love the clips in the bridesmaids hair!
Our head table in the reception...major floral!
Our cake was pretty simple, but delicious!
My husband and I took a private look at the reception room before all of the guests came in.
I chose to do the tradition of cake charms for the bridesmaids and I thought it was super fun!
We put out photos of our parents and grandparents weddings, as well as those family members who had passed.
Our band was awesome and got everyone on the dance floor!
I always find this photo to be precious!

Last week, we went to our farmer's market for the first time this season. It was so much fun! Despite the pandemic, I am happy we are able to get out and enjoy the market. I wanted to share some items we love that make our farmer's market trips extra special. We absolutely love the wagon below for market trips! Enjoy!
For the independent toddler who always wants to do their own thing, this little luggy would be cute to bring along on the farmer's market trip. They can pick out their own fruits & veggies and carry them around on their own!
I have quickly become a fan of Target kids shoes as Charlie's feet seem to grow a size every month. I love the classic style of these and can't beat the price!
I am a big fan of these berry boxes from Crate & Barrel. I have a few of them and use them to put out berries for parties or to keep berries in the fridge.
A favorite brand of ours, Bella Bliss, made the perfect summer dress! This red and white gingham girls dress if perfect for a trip to the farmer's market.
My parents gifted us this wagon for Charlie's first birthday and we still use it regularly all summer. We recently took it to the farmer's market and it was great for carrying our plants, plus had room for Charlie to ride in it still. The shade is great for sunny summer days.
I think it should be a requirement of going to the farmers market is to bring a straw bag! Just joking, but nothing says market like a straw bag. This bag from Target is actually a backpack, which is super cool if you have your hands full with children! Such good price, too!
This is my favorite straw hat. I wear it to the pool, when I am gardening, to the market...really anywhere. It it so versatile and has a large enough brim to truly shade your face.
