I am so happy to share these photos of Charlie's playhouse. This project is one I had envisioned even before Charlie was born and watching it come to life has truly been special! I mean, what is cuter than a mini house?! I am sharing the details of where we purchased her playhouse, as well as the accessories and furniture inside.
After receiving the kit for the house, we realized it was out of our realm of capabilities to assemble. Combine that with our lack of tools and we decided to hire a contractor to assemble it. I am so glad we did or it would probably still be a pile of wood!
The playhouse kit was purchased from Wayfair (here). We purchased the shingles separately and they are Certainteed in color driftwood (which matches our house). The exterior and interior paint of the house is Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace. The shutters are Sherwin Williams Wordly Gray, which is a shade lighter than our house siding color.
The kit came with the adorable window boxes.
We purchased the little bell from Micheal's Craft Store.
The wreath is from Hobby Lobby.
I felt like I won the lottery when I found this rug at Hobby Lobby. It was marked something like 50% off and it is the perfect size for the house. I love it! Here is a similar style (here).
This kitchen is from Wayfair. I was looking for a white kitchen, but wasn't willing to spend Pottery Barn Kids prices. This one was still kind of expensive and I am not sure how it is going to hold up in the winter, but I like that it is white. I originally wasn't a fan of the "copper" hardware, but it has grown on me. The cute pink strainer is from Homegoods. The scalloped shelves are from Target (found here).
This table (found here) and chairs (found here) are from Target, as well as the tic tac toe game (here).
I thought it would be fun to keep some cute games in the playhouse.
I found this little pillow at Hobby Lobby.
I wanted it to be a reminder to Charlie how much she is loved.
We hung these baskets on the wall as a place to store any toys or games that we will be keeping in the playhouse.
This is super random, but these two (I have come to find out) are major playhouse necessities! It is always so hot in the playhouse so we put this rechargeable fan in there. It also gets very messy from leaves and bugs sneaking into the playhouse, so I keep this dust pan and broom inside.
I hope you enjoyed the tour of Charlie's playhouse! It was a super fun project for us. I cannot wait to decorate for fall and Christmas inside this magical little house!
